46 inch V300A Series BRAVIA LCD TV

Featuring a 10-bit, 1 million pixel LCD panel, Sony’s 46” (117cm) V Series BRAVIA will provide you with a great viewing experience. Incorporating a wide colour backlight system, images are much more vibrant and true to life.

HDMI

HDMI is fully backward compatible with PCs, displays and consumer electronics devices incorporating the Digital Visual Interface (DVI) standard. Both HDMI and DVI were pioneered by Silicon Image and are based on TMDS®, Silicon Image's powerful, high-speed, serial link technology.


BRAVIA Engine

The combination of the BRAVIA ENGINE and the unique high spec S-PVA panel, allows the BRAVIA LCD-TV to deliver rich, deep natural colour, like no other.


Live Colour Creation™

Live Colour Creation is Sony’s answer to bringing you realistic pictures with radiant colours and deep accurate tones. With the ability to capture true colours of the source, you’ll be amazed by the wide range of colours that’s presented for your viewing pleasure.

After years invested in developing totally virtual surround sound technology, Sony has created S-Force front surround. This amazing technology utilises a complex process of sound delay to bring a surrounding sound atmosphere to any space whatsoever from just two front speakers!


10-bit Panel

With a new and improved 10-bit panel, BRAVIA LCD TVs are now capable of displaying up to 1024 individual steps of colour gradation. Compared to conventional 8-bit panels, you will notice remarkable smoothness in the colours and details of every image.

Wide Colour Gamut CCFL 2nd Generation

The Wide Colour Gamut CCFL (Cold Cathode Fluorescent Lamp) 2nd Generation improves the vibrancy and richness of reds, greens and blues and uses an additional phosphor coating for brighter backlighting. With an improved tri-colour enhancement, you receive richer reds, more natural greens and clearer and deeper blues for more detailed colours than ever before.


Theatre Mode

Collaborating with Sony Pictures Entertainment, Sony has created Theatre Mode, Sony’s authorised picture setting for films that accurately balances the colours of dark scenes and with the right amount of “film-grain”. You can now experience every movie exactly the way the director intended!
