LG’s DFC technology offers consumers clear, crisp and rich images through
our Ultra-High contrast ratio of 5000:1. DFC is operational in MOVIE MODE,
which is optimized for maximum brightness in a movie image, suitable for
moving images with various brightness levels.
DFC is a special feature most useful when displaying dark images.
DFC allows the LCD panel to render deeper Blacks through automatic control
instead of the traditional method where Black colors are rendered by blocking
the panel's backlight.
